Who do you think pays for the salaries of all the people that develop the
Windows operating system? If too expensive for you why did you buy it. Why
didn't you buy an Apple or the Linex OS? OR, is it just your nature to bitch
without understanding?

Um, the richest man in the world?
If too expensive for you why did you buy it.<

Did I say I bought it?

Actually, I use W2K and Win98 SE on my two computers. I wasn't bitching; you
were, about me. After reading this newsgroup for some time, I came to the
conclusion that XP is problematic. You confirmed by saying one needs to be a
programmer to be able to use it.

Now, can you address my points or only take refuge in ad hominems?

How many programming errors does XP have? Enough to eXpect Problems?

Look at what he has developed. Don't you think he deserves the reward?
Where would this industry be without Microsoft?
Did I say I bought it?
No you didn't, but then why complain about its cost?

I wasn't bitching. I was pointing out that you lack the knowledge to
understand costs and programming problems.
Now, can you address my points or only take refuge in ad hominems?

How many programming errors does XP have? Impossible to answer because XP is
an operating system and interfaces with literally thousands of other programs.
Enough to eXpect Problems? Absolutely not. Fact, not emotion, XP is the most
solid operating system ever. Just keep in mind that there is a lot of old
hardware out there that is not compatible with XP and therefore require
updates.

Windows XP crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears your screams.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it is not working.
Windows is like that.

Then, write a better OS.

Well you need to program your ass a new newsgroup client, because I
could hardly figure out where your replies were. So little old me, that
doesn't know a damn about programing fixed it up for you.

"Look at what he has developed."

The company or the code? Cause the code he started out with was
developed by someone else, all Bill did was add some finishing touches,
before he licensed it off to IBM.

"Don't you think he deserves the reward?"

I don't think any person deserves billions of dollars as long as there
is even one person starving in the world.
No you didn't, but then why complain about its cost?

He didn't complain. "More like eXpect Problems." All he did is come up
with his own explanation for what XP stands for.
understand costs and programming problems.

Enough to patch up twenty holes just last month alone. And XP is over
two & a half years old now!

More like emotional BS. All one needs to do is read this group, and
you'll see all the problems.
XP is the most solid operating system ever.

As compare to previous versions of Windows. Still BS! My eXPerience is
that 2K is more stable than XP, just for the fact that it ain't running
the effin' kitchen sink of XP bundled middleware!
Just keep in
mind that there is a lot of old hardware out there that is not
compatible with XP and therefore require updates.

Just keep in mind that you are just deluding yourself. XP is just
another flawed operating system waiting to be replaced by a new MS
flawed OS that will touted by MS as the best OS ever. All it is, is the
same old tired MS marketing propaganda.

You need to be a programmer to be able to distinguish putrid code!

anarchy99 <[email protected]> asked "what's the
sound of one hand clapping?", and I said it's a bit like this:

Windows = the value of X times P

There's actually a secret code for figuring out the product key when
using that formula with different values.
