What does, "The account specified for one or more messages in the outbox has
been removed. Would you like to use your default account (xxx) to send these
messages?" mean?

It means the account that was supposed to get used when you sent the
message (but which has been pending in your Outbox) no longer exists at
the time when Outlook attempted to actually send the message. You had
accountA. You composed a message and sent it under accountA. By the
time an attempt was made to actually send the message, accountA was no
longer defined. Some account has to be used to send the message
(because the outbound mail server has to be known).
