Error sending message that is not in the Outbox

I have two email accounts, only one of which has send message capability. I
get constant errors 0x80042109 because Outlook 2003 is trying to send a
message to the email account that does not allow sending email. There are no
emails in the Outbox. I have to believe that Outlook is trying to send a
receipt to the account without send capability.

Thanks in advance for any help that will resolve this problem.
