your question. However, the file ends in jpg, and that *is* a standard
graphics extension. No guarantees, but you could try renaming it to
img000#_#.jpg and then try to view it.

That is what MS photos titles an unedited scan (with the number determined
by the owner in Properties), prior to editing the .jpg and saving it with
another title or same.

Problem solved. Was attempting to open Photos with wrong program, (In this
case Ulead Photo Explorer). Thanks for the helpful responses.
