When i log in i notice that explorer gets lots of cpu time. can i log
its activity? What types of activity is it performing?
Thank you,

one example might be better viewed than explained.
--------------
go to task manager (ctrl alt del)
find the explorer.exe process and end it
the desktop should go blank.
then go to the applications tab in task manager
click new task and type explorer.exe and run
--------------
the registry is reinstalled persay and
i have read somewhere that when changes are
made to the registry you don't always have to
reboot, but can simply do the above
process....

however i havn't done any
research to validate what i had read
from those advance tweaking/hacker websites.

But i have used the method above on
several occassions without consequencial
results.....
