I never got that message before I installed Service Pack. Now, even though I
have configured service pack to admit FrontPage, I cannot update my webpage
using FrontPage. This is really horrible! Please help!

Please explain in detail what your doing when you get message.

What version of FP and OS are you running?
Does the remote server have the FP extensions?

Yes, I checked the windows firewall and had it disabled. Also, FrontPage is
on the "admit" group within the firewall.

The server hasn't changed in the two years that I have been using fp to
"publish" my webpage. The only thing that has changed is service pack. I am
running xp pro with fp2003.

Are you trying to open the FP site on a specific port
- or just as the URL w/o a port
By default FP uses port 80 for http
