What do i do?, all my 20 GB of my files have been erased

I have lost everything. How do i recover. what do i do.
Someone please help me. It's so stupid. I can't believe

That's a stupid response. Leomar, you need to answer the question that
Mr. Rogers asked you - how did you lose them? Don't panic, all is
probably not lost. But what you were doing does make a difference in
how to recover them. Don't do *anything* else on the machine. I assume
you're posting from a different computer.
