Hi all,....
I have a barton 2500 clocked to 3000+ and 768DDR....

i got a nVidia geforce FX5200 right now and i want to buy a new card that has the best performance for my system.

i am thinking of buying a
Gainward Ultra/1780 TV/DVI, GeForce 6600, 256MB, TV-out, DVI-out,

or a

Gainward Ultra/1960 Golden Sample, GeForce 6600GT, 128MB, TV-out, DVI-out

i dont know if 128MB is enough for my system.
What card should i buy?

thanks.

I have the DFI Ultra II B with a Leadtek 6800GT 256Mb, it handles all current games.

Assuming gaming is a priority, try and get one of those.

If budget is a consideration, go for at least a 6600GT, either 128Mb or 256Mb version.

In my opinion 128Mb onboard memory would be enough but you may have a job finding many cards in an AGP flavour now, particularly at a decent price.

is there a big difference between 128 and 256 MB of ram on 6600GT?

is a 6600 with 256 MBram faster than a 6600GT with 128 MB ram??

Well, there's a difference, obviously, but I wouldn't say a big difference. Especially if you consider the price paid for performance ratio.

No.
