What cancels folder customization?

Does anything reset the customized layout of folders? I find myself having
to keep re-setting some folders. If it's something I'm doing, I'd like to
know what.

Hi,

WindowsXP will remember the settings of up to 400 folders, after that it
starts forgetting some. See this from MVP Kelly for a way to increase this
number:

Line 2, increase the folder view size limit to 8000

The latest version of tweakuiXP (from the powertoys site) also has the
facility to set this to whatever number you like.
