I am trying to get a handle on what "hkcr\idid#url1", "hkcr
\idid#url2", etc registry locations are and what type of data they
contain without success.

All assistance is appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

perhaps, if the entries
are trojans,

then simply deleting the
keys from the registry
would be helpful as well.

Perhaps they are not trojans or virus or malware and perhaps it would
not be helpful if they were deleted from the registry (they could be
important), and perhaps Antivirus Software is ineffective when run in
Safe Mode but maybe they are and maybe it would be okay.

Hi Allanc,

Seems a Virus or Malware:

Trojan.Agent/Gen
   HKCR\idid
   HKCR\idid#url1
   HKCR\idid#url2

Please scan your PC with Antivirus Software in Safe Mode

Yes, they were flagged by SuperAntiSpyware.
However, I am interested in understanding what these positions in the
registry mean and how they are used (regardless of how they got
there).
Thank you once again.
