What are Incoming Connections?

I thought that Control Panel>Networking Connections just displayed a
list of all my DUN connections. But on my XP Home PC I just noticed
there's an entry called 'Incoming Connections'. And if I look at
Properties>Users I see a surprising list of entries like this:

Basic (Basic)
Guest
HelpAssistant (Remote Desktop Help Assistant Account)
Limited (Limited-Test)
SUPPORT_388945a0 (CN=Microsoft Corporation,
L=Redmond,S=Washington,C=US)
Terry (Terry Pinnell)
Testing (Testing)
etc

I don't have a network, just my dial-up internet connection (soon to
become broadband, if that matters). What's that all about please?

Incoming connections are typically for when you want your computer to answer
incoming modem connections. If you don't know why it is there I would
probably delete it.
