I did that first. If I create Power Point presentations in 2003 can they be
used and then customized by someone who has PPT 2000? I have had problems in
the past that people who do not have the most current versions can not
open/use some programs/documents that I created in 2003
There are a lot of new features in PowerPoint 2002/2003 that aren't supported in
older versions. If you create complex animations using the new features, they
won't play in 2000 and if the 2000 user changes the animations, your animations
will probably be tossed.
Newer versions allow you to create multiple masters, a very handy feature; these
display in PPT 2000 and the user can edit the content of slides, but they won't
be able to edit the masters or assign them to new slides.
