What a way of fixing bugs!!!

Angel Massa

Yesterday installed the Pre-RC1 version.

My overall impression is very possitive and it's a big improvement over beta
2. But I'm very dissapointed with one of the things that thought it will be
fixed from beta 2.

On Beta 2 when trying to synch my PocketPC with Outloot 2007 I got an error
on Mobile Center saying the Outlook it's not configured. This problem
affected many PocketPC users and I read lots of complaing about this.

When I tryied my PocketPC with Pre-RC1 I was sadly surprised to see that the
way to fix this problem is to REMOVE it instead of fixing it. Now Vista
simply doesn't recognize my PocketPC and don't opens Mobile Center. It's
only recognized and I can access the files in the PocketPC from My Computer.
No synch at all!!! :-(

I hope they don't decided to remove support for PocketPC's in Vista as this
will stop from update from XP for me.

If it was an old PDA from a weird company I can understand. But it's a
MICROSOFT PocketPC 2 years old that cost more than $600!!! If Microsoft
don't support whis own products who will?

Regards,
Angel.

Maybe this is not an issue with Pre RC1 but with Outlook 2007 beta 2?
