Someone can sync with PocketPC?

Has anyone managed to sync a PocketPC with Vista + Outlook 2007?

On Beta 2 it opened the Mobile Center but it says "Outlook is not
configured" and was impossible to sync.

Now in Pre-RC1 not even opens the Mobile Center. Things are going worst. :-(

Regards,
Angel.

In Beta 2 only WM5 devices would sync.

Yeah it's good isn't it, hopefully they'll have it sorted for RC1 or there
are going to be a lot of annoyed people.

I hope too, or I will be one of those VERY annoyed people. My Windows Mobile
2003 device is only 2-3 years old, has an OS made by Microsoft and cost more
than $600. If they don't support his own 2 years old products Microsoft will
upset many many people.

Angel.

I have a Dell Axim x50v and on rc-1 of Vista with Office 2007 b2 I don't even
get the Mobile Device Center gui--- when I plug in my Axim, Vista sees it and
asks if I want to sync files on the SD card and so on... but the Mobile
Device Center never comes up. When I run it it says device connected, sync
with usb or bluetooth... and that's ALL. This is the last deal-breaker for me
before I can jump to Vista as my primary OS so I'd love to see this work!
What's your secret, Pierce?

Addendum: I should have noted that my x50v is running WM5.

I have the Axim x50v. It is listed in the help for synching that WM5 is
*not* supported.

No joy for WMDC since the pre-RC1 with any WM5 device as far as I can tell.
Strange as this seems to be a key integration point.

I am also experiencing this, I don't know whats up with it. I don't even see
the device in Computer explorer.

Here's what I got:
Windows Vista x64 Ultimate Edition Build 5600
HP iPAQ h6325 running Microsoft PocketPC 2003 Prem Phone (See:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...peId=215348&prodSeriesId=430120&lang=en&cc=ca for more details)

Now, I plug my iPAQ into the craddle, Vista sees it, and when I even go into
device manager it lets me view all the hardware profiles and device
information. However, I don't see it listed in Windows Explorer, and it's
definately not coming up in Sync Center. I can't even install ActiveSync to
get my iPAQ and O2k7B2TR to sync.

So, my question is, has anyone here actually got a Microsoft PocketPC 2003
device? My second question, was it on the 64bit version or 32bit version? Who
here has done any syncronization with any mobile device on the 64bit version?

Thanks everyone,
Mike
