What A Mess....MVP Please Help!!

OK, here is what I have done. I installed XP (Home) repair to fix some
problems I was having, which did take care of these problems, now I have a
new one. I figured I would have to download XP Service Pack 2 again. I
looked for some of the Service pack 2 features and they were gone, so after
my PC updated ALL of those security updates I had on my pc before doing the
XP Reinstall Repair, I went to down the service pack 2 and received a
message, congratulation, you have already downloaded it. I went to the
download history and yes it was there. I went to add/remove programs and
it's not there?? I thought perhaps I had to uninstall and then reinstall it.
Well I can't find it. I went to Microsoft Help Pages and followed the 3 or
4 different procedures for finding it and to no avail it's not on my pc. Now
what? How do I get the Service Pack 2 back or if it is there, how to get the
new features working.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Please be patient with me.

Ignore it saying that this is only for many computers... it works fine with
one computer too.
