WGA wants to validdate for EVERY download?

Hi,

I went through the WGA process last week when I needed to download a file.
The ActiveX version didn't work, so I had to download the "alternate" tool,
it checked the validation and gave me a code, but now a week later when I
wanted to download a new file, it's making me go through the whole process
again!

I thought the WGA was a one-off process? Is there a proper way to set this
up?

I'd rather use Mozilla/Firefox if possible.

Thats posabily the most intelegnt thing iv ever seen writen (at least
here). Yes, when you download things from microsofts web site, do use
a alternate browser, if there servers detect you are not using IE you
will not be asked to do WGA but you can still download any thing. The
only exception to this is for windows updates, you must use IE for
that (if you actualy do them).

That's right, the problem was occurring while using IE6 SP1 under Win2k.
The problem is the same using Mozilla. It still wants me to run the WGA
tool.

Currently, which ever browser I use, I'm being asked to validate EVERY
time I want to download a file. Is anyone else seeing this?

EVEN when using Mozilla? That shouldn’t be happening, are you
certian you dont have IE open aswell? And do you use user agent
switcher?

No, I'm not using agent switcher, just pure Mozilla.

Can you tell me how it works on your own system? Did you allow the
ActiveX, or did you find some other way round it?
