we got licence for 10 winxp pro. and installed on 7 PCs. one of them dual
partition because of driver conflict for scanner and printer. unfortunately
with aging PC we are get getting problems and had to refresh/re-install a
number of times plus changing some hardware. with the last change in
hardware, repairing with windows install disk results in "victum of software
theft message."

what can we do

You need to contact Microsoft, probably best to do this through the
sales agency that you originally purchased the 10 user volume license
from.

It is possible that your volume license key has somehow been made
available to others.
