Werez my Desktop!!~~~

One day i just turned on my computer and my desktop + startbar wa
gorn...

I get no errors or anything, it just doesnt load..

but the strange thing is i CAN run explorer, it just runs a explore
[to browse files n stuff] but just doesnt run the desktop + startbar.

can anyone help me?
