Welcome Screen

This just started to happen. On my wifes computer when she boots up the
screen that lists the various users no longer appears. Where did it go
& how can she get it back.

Hmm... Probably:

Start
Run
Type "control userpasswords" without the quotes
Press Enter
Change the way users log on and off
Tick the Use the Welcome Screen option

I have run into the same problem too. Unfortunately to click on Start one
needs to login. I don't seen any way that I can get into the system. I have
this light blue screen with a dark blue band on top and bottom, and the
Microsoft logo in the middle. Nothing else. Any suggestions on how to
login so one could fix the issue?
