welcome screen bypassed

After installing service pack 2, when I load Windows, it
bypasses the welcome screen and loads right in to my
account even though I have the Guest account enabled and
have Windows instructed to use the welcome screen.

The Guest account is not a regular account and does not affect the
Welcome screen. Do you have another regular user account created? If
not, in effect what Windows is doing is using the Welcome screen and
going right to the only user account on the system (yours). If this
isn't what you mean, then please post back to this thread with an
explanation of how many user accounts (not counting the Guest account)
you've made on your system and what you want to see when you start up
Windows.
