I was wondering if someone could tell me how to bypass the Windows startup
Welcome Screen and get Windows to go straight to my desktop from startup.

Thank You,

This is very easy and the directions aren't hard to find.

Go to start, run, type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 and press enter.

De-select the "Users must enter" checkbox, choose Apply.

You still should have a password for the account as the Windows Task
Scheduler, by default, for security reasons, won't run scheduled tasks on an
account with no password. You can change this behaviour, but it's a better
idea to just add teh password.

Start | Run, type "control userpasswords2" Select the account you want
to logon to automatically. Then uncheck the box "Users must enter a
user name and password to use this computer."

Or do the same thing with TweakUI.
