Welcome Page/Desktop Problem

Hello,

My girlfriend and I share a computer so we have two separate accounts on
our Welcome Page. My account simply says my name, as does hers. But under her
name is something that reads "51 Unread Mail Messages."

Sometimes if I hover my cursor over it, it'll say her e-mail address. I
can't figure out how to get it to stop telling us what's in her e-mail. Any
help would be much appreciated.
