Weird thing...help

I recently reinstalled Outlook 2003, I saved my data file from before.
Now I have double files list in outlook. Two "Mailbox" and double
their subsequent folders. When I click a side panel tab like Calendar
or Contacts, there is two options in each to check, ie. Calendar and
Calendar in Mailbox both are identical, I was able to right click
those and select Remove from favorites. I don't think the file itself
is twice as big as it should be, ie. when an item is added or moved
from a folder, it shows in both folders.

How did you migrate your data to the new installation? Your symptoms indicate
you did it incorrectly. In fact, you shouldn't have needed to migrate at all.
If you didn't reinstall Windows, your mail profile in the registry should have
remained and Outlook should have picked it up exactly as it had been. Time
for a new mail profile. When you create the profile, point it at the PST you
have already using the Data Files button in the Mail applet.

I did reinstall windows... I installed Outlook, skipped the intro and
setup , traded my data file for the one it created, then problem...

And thereby corrupted your mail profile. You cannot simply substitute one PST
for another if the first is defined in a mail profile. That corrupts the
profile every time.
