Problems with reminders

I have two calendars in my Outlook 2007. One is linked straight with
my Exchange account and the other is in additional Mailbox that's on
Exchange as well. When I connect to OWA the reminders work fine for
both the calendars. However when I start my Outlook I'm getting
reminders only from the one that's linked with my Exchange account but
not getting any from the one that's inside that additional mailbox.
What could be the problem?

As far as I can confirm with a quick test, that's how its behavior is by

By design? Why would Microsoft do something like that? If I have 2
accounts
and it's for a reason, I can understand that I won't be able to add
the second one
as an Exchange account. Well not quite but let's say a user should
normally have
only one account within a domain and so I can't set up an Outlook
profile with 2
Exchange accounts. However I can't understand why when given the
possibility
to add another mailbox with full access to it I can't use it fully.

Reminders fire only from the delivery location folders unless you add a third
party tool like

It is because in an Exchange environment the mailbox is linked to a user
object. Meaning that if you want to get reminders for appointments from
another user as well, you should get invited for that meeting as well.
