Weird screen saver behavior - XP Pro

Sometimes when I've been idle for a while and sign back in, XP paints my
desktop and then immediately goes to my screen saver again and I have to
logon a second time. What's weirder is that it's only happening to one of
my three users.

My environment:
XP Pro with SP2 on my laptop
3 users set up, all administrators
other 2 users behave properly
noticed this shortly after upgrading to SP2 and doing an Office upgrade.

Any help out there?
