Weird Question about profiles

We have our clients logging into a Citrix Metaframe
Server running Win2000 Server. The servername is
METAFRAME

For some of the clients, when we look at the profiles in
the C:\docs & settings\ it lists their profile twice.

For example, for user Joe Smith, we find the following:

C:\Documents & Settings\jsmith
C:\Documents & Settings\jsmith.METAFRAME


SO basically its adding a second profile with the
extension of the servername.

Any idea why it is doing this?

This can happen when users log in multiple times, or with both local
and domain accounts. Check this article for background information on
