Weird Problem ??????

Okay here is the problem, standalone apps on my computer will not connect to
the internet. For example when I recieve an email and try to click on the
link nothing happens, If I am running a specific program and want to go to
there website, I click nothing. However, when running an update on an app
from a specific splash screen there is no problem. It seems to be an issue
opening the browser, now my defaullt browser is FireFox but IE is installed
and I use it daily. I changed my default back to IE still could ot get any
results. I have looked at my services and nothing ?seems? to be disabled
that would cause this.

May be an issue of file association - got Start>Control panel>Folder
options>File type tab - scroll to "HTML" extension and select it - under
etails for 'HTML' Extension" should read "opens with Internet Explorer" -
if so - check "Advanced" to affirm that default action is "Open". If
opening program is not IE - change.

Thank You AJR ,problem solved. Changed default to open works fine now.
