Weird Problem

Hi,

I would really appreciate anyone that could help me in
fixing this problem. After installing a program (the
sims) the screen started to black out and when I moved
the mouse it would move in all diffrent directions. I
used my restore disk that came with my compaq. It
formated my hard drive and reinstalled windows xp. After
this I downloaded the updates, yet ever once in a while
when I perform certain tasks, the screen starts to go
black and get fuzzy and the mouse does the same thing.
And eventually the computer locks up. I ran virus scans
put up a fire wall, even though im on dial up. None of
these things seem to work. If anyone ever had this
problem before or knows anything that may help PLEASE e-
mail me or post and let me know. Thank You for your help.

Have you checked out your video card? It may be going
south.
