Weird message when I save documents

I'm running MS Office 2003 SP2.

Recently, every time I try to save a document, I get a weird message,
"Some of the features in this document aren't supported by Microsoft
Word 6.0/95."

I've never received these messages before.

And, I recently had a client who said that he was seeing weird icons
and symbols in the Word documents I sent him. I wondered if the two
might be related.

I am saving as a Word Document - no Word 6.0 document - and I'm still
getting this message re: Word 6.0/95, even though I'm using Word 2003
SP2.

In Word, click Tools>Options>Compatibility tab. What's selected?
