weird log generated after browser shuts down

I got this log file generated on my desktop after IE6
shutdown - which, by the way, I have never had more
problems with IE than with 6.0 - I should have stayed with
5.5 ... seemed much more stable. Anyway, I opened this
mysterious log file and here's what it read (below). I
have had errors relating to java VM lately (since I
upgraded to 6.0), and I have uninstalled and reinstalled
the most current java files, and "repaired" my IE6.0,
etc. - so I am assuming this is related, though if anyone
would or could advise me on what's going on (and maybe
help with a fix?), I would greatly appreciate it! :-) I
use Windows98SE and 256MB RAM, AMD Athlon Processor K7.
Here is what the log reads:

An unexpected exception has been detected in native code
outside the VM.
Unexpected Signal : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
(0xc0000005) occurred at PC=0x80526E
Function=[Unknown.]
Library=(N/A)

Hi,

I understand that the system generates a log file related to Java VM.

Please note that if a Java-Application crashes, usually the Java VM
crashes. The reason of the crash can be a bug in the Java-Application or a
bug in the Java VM.

Please upgrade the system with the latest version of Java Runtime
Environment (JRE), delete the log file. Check now if the log file is
created again while browsing sites.

Hope it resolves the issue.

Thank you,

Rashmi
