Weekly Newsletter #38 - Video-Like Snippet

The next newsletter will be about making a 'video-like' snippet in a Photo
Story 3 project.... here's a link to the finished one for the tutorial - it
plays 20 seconds and is 1/2 MB in file size. It's a wmv file rendered with
the Imagev2 codec:

It was put together from an MPEG-1 video and a couple scanned images, using
TMPGEnc, Paint, MM2, and PS3.

However, to read the newsletter (his actual motive for posting the message

Good point.... I'll outline what I do....

It's a $20 a year subscription to those who want the newsletters as they are
issued, usually every Friday night.

..... 6 weeks after each issue, it's posted to a website archive where it's
free for all to view.... here's the link:

And if I put a video snippet like this on online and make a post to it, it's
understood that I'd answer any comments about it... you don't need the
newsletter to view the result of the tutorial, make a comment or get a
response.

Well there you have it folks...the guy who gained his mvp status by helping
people has turned in to the uncommon with other MVP's a commercial- entity
using his position to fill his pockets with your money....you will also see
at the bottom of these newsletters how he wants to rip US %50 out of you
pocket for the basic task of taking your complex (because you let it get to
big) project file and break it up into smaller projects....$50 !!! that's
FIFTY US DOLLARS..... What kind of person wants to charge FIFTY US DOLLARS
to split a file up into more manageable parts for you the user????
PAPAJOHN THE MERCENARY is who!!

So why not put it to him....wait till the free version of his comic comes
out....believe me people its a comic....he grabs his ideas from here and
other free resources by the way and then cons unsuspecting new comers out of
their hard earned money...tell him you expect completely free help, support
and tips from HIM just the way you would get that free help from anyone else
in here.......
