"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not
support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to
compress the file."

What's needed to be able to view your video? XP Home w/SP2.

Worked fine the third time I tried it. XP strikes again.<G> BTW,
thanks for all the help you've offered both in this forum and on your
website. I ran across some minitapes I'd recorded several years ago and
was able to make up some decent videos using MM2 and burning the .AVI
files using Ulead's DVD Workshop 2. The MM2 program is the easiest
program I've found for capturing and authoring home videos.

Very good - I had best results by downloading it first than just view over
broadband

You're a real star PJ :)

Thanks for all the direct and indirect help over the last couple of years,

Actually just one gripe -

The shadow text overlay seems a bit weird (thick) at the word "Issue"

Maybe just me... or you did it by design?

9.5/10 though - probably about 6 months + of learning to figure out how you
did all that wacky stuff ;-)

Keep up the good work - we need you...

my wife's first comment was to get rid of that text overlay..... yes, I made
it as a 3D text (extruded) but bumping things down to the quality needed for
online distribution muddies it up a bit

that's 2 votes for swapping it out with something else, or deleting it....
I'll do it

thanks

Dang - well I have the directors cut saved to disk for eternity anyway ----
I wonder how rare that will be ;-)
