Yeah, that's what I said yesterday, and the day before that,
and the day before that... <sigh>

It just seems ridiculous to me that Microsoft's own video
editor STILL doesn't support their own DVR-MS format.

As far as Movie Maker's [lack of] MPEG-2 support, well ...
I'll save that rant for another day! ;-)

Exactly! I don't really care about the whys (i.e., no hardware encoder for
WMV). Microsoft creates DVR-MS files, Windows Movie Maker should be able to
edit them.
