Is there a website cleaner to get rid of old stuff I forgot was there?
FrontPage does this but I don't want to get involved with that again.
I am talking about uploaded stuff. I could, of course, delete everything
and upload again.

You could use 'Xenu Link Sleuth' and remember to check the box for
orphan files!
