webcams

Dear all,
I have a small win XP peer to peer network, using the SP2 firewalls on
each computer. The newtwork has ADSL access to the net via a router with
its own firewall. I also have a teenage daughter.
She likes to use a web cam to keep up with her pals. The webcam is
attached to one of the computers via a USB port.
What is the chance / liklihood that someone from outside can access the
webcam to view my daughter's bedroom? Hint, it looks like a bomb site.
Please advise

0% "accidentally".

100% if she has knowingly and intentionally set it up for that (by joining
something like http://ww.com/ or installing software to put the live cam on
her own website).

Hi

Near to impossible :)
If your teenager daughter doesn't authorize her pals for additional
permissions.
I think that chat is not your problem.
However you can restrict application sharing, sharing Explorer window,
prevent control, desktop sharing and etc using system policy

Run mmc
Add local computer policy
/User Configuration/Administration templates/windows components/netmeeting
Disable application Sharing
Prevent Sharing
Prevent Desktop Sharing
Prevent Sharing Command Prompts
Prevent Sharing Explorer windows
Prevent Control
