I'm interested in using a Webcam but have concerns as to how much bandwidth
it will use. I have a cable connection but it is shared with my family and I
don't want to adversely impact their online activates. Will the camera try
to use all the free bandwidth it can? Can I set it so it only uses a
percentage or a fixed amount of the bandwidth?

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

Read this report and judge yourself how "thirsty" for bandwidth
webcam can be:

Take a look at this review also:

If you have a broad band cable or DSL it should work fine.
The higher bandwidth the better.
