WebCam/Internet Prob

Hi! Could anyone please help me?

I am running the XP Pro o/s, and have recently purchased
a WebCam. The problem that I am having is that when I
have done the reboot after installing the cam and drivers
I am unable to access web pages and MSN although I am
defiantly connected to the internet.

I have tried three different WebCams (all using USB
ports). The message I get up when trying to get on MSN
etc are to make sure that you are connected to the
internet, and it is frustrating as I know I am due to the
PC screen at the bottom bar, and connection speed showing.

To resolve the problem of not being able to access
websites etc is nothing but a system restore, and
disabling the cam and uninstalling it are unsuccessful
after the reboot.

I would appreciate any feed back from anyone that can
help me.

P.S I am not plugging in the cam before I am putting the
installation cd in.
