My web viewing is slow on both IE and Mozilla. When the page is done loading
and I scroll down it is very jerky and almost like its refreshing the little
bit of the page. Is it because of my system Specs:

800mhtz
144mb ram
16mb vram
?

Or is there something to configer (wouldnt think so)?

Bushman91,

What changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't?
Are you sure your computer is 100% spyware and virus-free?

The amount of system RAM you have is on the low side for XP (256MB is
really the minimum you want), but if the computer was behaving before
then that probably isn't the cause. The 16MB VRAM refers to your video
card, which I would suspect is an old one. Try updating the video
drivers if you can find any for your card. Look on the mftr.'s website,
not Windows Update.

If you'd like more help, post back to this thread with the answers to
the first two questions I asked, as well as the name of your video card
and if display is fine in other applications.

You need to find out what your graphics card is. Look in the Device
Manager under Display or in the Display applet under Adapters. Once you
know what the card is, go to the device mftr.'s website. If it is
Nvidia, go to www.nvidia.com and download drivers for your card for
Windows XP. Then go to the Add/Remove Programs applet and uninstall the
old Nvidia drivers. Reboot. Then double-click the file you downloaded
to start the installation of the new drivers. Follow the wizard and
reboot when prompted. After the reboot, go to the Display applet and
set your resolution to what you want (and what is proper for your card
and monitor), probably 1024 x 768 at the highest.
