Web sites open slowly

I have DSL service and my sites ususally open very quickly. Since 5 days ago my sites are opening as if I was using a dial up with 28K speed. I am using IE6 with SP1 update. I have scanned for viruses, ran utilities, etc. and should be in good shape. I did find some trojan horses and removed them. Any ideas about the slow response?

john, thanks for the advice. I have ran adaware, spybot, housecall.antivirus.com, and norton utilities. I have also found other sites for help. They are cexx.org/lspfix.htm, definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm, and mvps.org/inetexplorer/parasite.htm. I have not tried them yet. There was a discussion of this same problem under the subject "Explorer Opens Very Slowly" which provided these sites.

Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):

Unzip the Download file in a NEW FOLDER that you can create before you start
the download.
DO NOT use any of the TEMP folders that are presently in your computer.
Double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location:
