web site failing

Im trying to go to a web site and it is conistntly
failing and every o6ther web site i use works fine. the
site is up (i have called thge company and they say their
site is up. Yet i cannot get on. I have deleted cookies,
typed in the url as to allow cookies and still
nothing...HELP!!!

Could you provide a few more details ........
What site?
What happens when you try to access the site? (error message?)

You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
