Because that website hosts malware! You don't want to go there! I hope you
don't answer 419 emails too.

Review the "Safe Hex" information at these sites and do a thorough scan of
your computer for malware.

Since you didn't mention the name of the program you used to scan see if you
were this thorough:

Eric,
PC Buyer Beware!

Thanks for the input, but I have had MyIwon as my default home page for a
number of years, and have not had any significant issues with it. So if
someone out there can help me get it unblocked I would appreciate it.

If Malwarebytes did it, contact them.

Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Double-click hosts and open it in Wordpad. Edit out the line referring
to iwon.com and save the file _without_ an extension.

That would pretty hard since you still haven't told us the name of the
"Malware program" that recognized it as spyware.

Or you may want to reconsider using that site; Malke is often on the
ball on these matters.

Malwarebytes anti malware

Actually just heard back from Malwarebytes Tech support and he says
"Our software does not block sites in any way, that type of protection is
not coded into it. The only thing that would be blocked in any way, would be
if you have our Pro version which includes the Protection module, but then
again, it only blocks malware that tries to run, it won't block access to any
sites."
Also have Spybot and Adaware???
