Web Server in Windows XP doesn't work!

Hello,

I setup a web server on XP. When I type my computer name in the web browser
the server works. When I try to access the website from another computer it
doesn't work! I have a Belkin Router.

Do you mean it doesn't work from a PC outside of your network? Did you port
forward on the router? Allow IIS to access the firewall?

If accessing from outside you network you also have to have your domain or
IP address correctly configured.... http://www.dslwebserver.com/

If accessing the site from inside your network the correct URL will be
http://yourpcname - where yourpcname is the name of the PC which hosts the
site.
