Web pages display weird format

Recently my web pages began to display weirdly. My my space pages have no
background images on my computer but others can see them, thats just an
example because I know what should be there. Other web pages are missing
backgrouns and the type font is HUMONGOUS!. There appears to be type over
other type, like maybe certain sections are overlapping others. Aol sites
show up with HUGE print and I cant zoom them back at all. Both IE and firefox
are doing this also. I have no idea what could have caused this and I had HP
on the phone for two hours. Their suggestion was a total recovery which would
require a ton of work....can you suggest anything I can check? Thanks, Brian

Try System Restore to when things were working okay?.

What about your Display settings on the Graphic cards, by right click on
Desktop, select properties then on Display Properties click on settings and
see what the resolutions set to!.

Nass' information is great advice. I had that problem once myself and
it happened with any browser I tried to use, meaining IMO it was a
system problem, not a browser or site issue.

In my case I finally got disgusted and took the quicker route of a
reinstall, but I'd appreciate it if you come back and give us your final
fix that works, whatever it is.
