Web Page Errors

H

Hal Keith

I am receiving the following error message when looking at certain Web pages
including some on the Windows site:

Message on the Status Bar: "Done, But with errors on Page"

After clicking to see the message a box pops up with the following message:

Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly
or functioning properly. In the future you can display this message by
double-clicking the warning icon in the status bar.

Show Details reveals the following:

Line 90
Char 17
Error: Object Expected
Code: 0
URL Http://www.comcast.net/comcast.html

Any information on this problem would be appreciated.

Hal,
Most of the time this is just errors on the web site ..... not your end.
However some ad-blocking apps will cause this (script error) when the ad or
banner fails to display.

Internet Options | Advanced
Select: "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck: "Display a notification about every script error", click Apply\Ok

Verify these Registry entries exist and are correct:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Disable Script Debugger"="yes"
"Error Dlg Details Pane Open"="yes"
"Error Dlg Displayed On Every Error"="no"
"NoJITSetup"=dword:00000000
"NoWebJITSetup"=dword:00000001

Note: always Export before editing .....
[or]
Download the latest version of Windows Script 5.6 for XP\2K
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...43-7e4b-4622-86eb-95a22b832caa&DisplayLang=en

Try installing that and see if it helps with your problem.
