web discuss - how should it work ? (2)

How is the "Discuss" supposed to work when accessed via a browser ?

I go to our Sharepoint 2.0 Shared Documents folder,
I hover across a specific document,
and the drop down box arrow appears,
with these selections :
View Properties
Edit Properties
Edit in Word
Delete
Check Out
Version History
Alert Me
DISCUSS
Create Workspace

So - if I click on DISCUSS,
what should happen after that..... (we run Office 2003)
or - if this is not supported in Sharepoint 2.0 - why is it there ?

yeah - sorry -
had Outlook.general & Sharepoint.general listed next to each other,
and clicked on the wrong one
