Web Components not available - FP2003

When inserting Web Component>Hit Counter, Photo Gallery, List View, or
Library View, I get an Error Report popup box. "Microsoft Office FrontPage
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." and then the program closes.

I have gone to the Tools>Page Options>Authoring window and note that the
Activex Controls and Javascript/Jscript options under Browsers are
unavailable. I further note that if I select the photo gallery page template
from File>New, the sample photo gallery opens. Also, when Hit Counter, Photo
Gallery, List View or Library view are selected, no options appear in the
"Choose an Effect" pane

I made sure that the web / site were open, ran chkdsk and defrag.

The computer is new - I built it; AMD X2 5200, 2 Gigs ram. Plenty of HD
space. Running XP - SP2 with all updates. Started out with Office XP w/
Frontpage (2002). Now Office 2007 Ultimate and FrontPage 2003 SP2. Office
and Frontpage have been totally removed and reinstalled with no change. CA
antivirus, Windows Firewall for security. Spybot, Adaware..that's it. All
help is appreciated.

Steve, thanx for the advice. Unfortunately, that setting was already in
place. Any other suggestions? Mike

I believe List View and Library View are available only when the server is
running Sharepoint Team services . Never used it so....
