Unable to edit and save Photo Gallery changes to original location

I have recently reorganized my files and moved my Frontpage files to "My
Webs." I later made changes to a photo gallery in one of my webs and didn't
realize that Frontpage then created a new "Photo Gallery" folder, with all
new thumbnails. When I moved and renamed this new gallery, Frontpage can't
"find" the thumbnails, but the files are all there and intact, and my photo
gallery page "looks" like they're there. What gives?

it could be in how you "moved" them.
how did you do that?
what's most effective and safe is to publish from one location to another,
even if it's from a disk based location to another.

you could try tools/ recalculate hyperlinks and see if that helps you.

Hm, well, I moved them from inside Frontpage, using Frontpage's file tree,
with the gallery page open, so I could see that it renamed all the pathways
for the thumbnails... OTOH, it didn;t have me re-save the gallery page after
it was done with that. Sigh, my brain is hurting right now. I'll try the
recalculate hyperlinks tool, haven't tried that before.

Thanks! Hea XX

OK, I ran the recalculate hyperlinks, and it didn't quite fix it, but when I
rebuilt the gallery one last time, it put everything in the right place this
time, and remembered where they were. I have at this point successfully
published my updates. Thanks for the tip!

Once you have created the Gallery, do no try to move the pages or images.
