Web - Chat Rooms

I've just installed Windows XP, now I'm not able to enter chat rooms. I'm
able to log onto different sites, however, when I go to a chat room, I
receive a smal box with an X on the chat screen.
It was working fine with Windows 98.

Are they Java chatrooms? If so you may need to install Java. You ca
download that from http://tinyurl.com/9z9f
