web based installation of Visio 2k3

Greetings from Munich,

I am trying to perform a Web Based installation of Visio 2k3. I have
placed the content of the Visio 2k3 CD at

http://our.webserver.dom/apps/visio/2k3/

But when I try to execute the following:
msiexec /i http://our.webserver.dom/apps/visio/2k3/VISSTD.MSI

I get the following error:
--------------------------------------------Microsoft Office Visio Standard 2003 Setup
Microsoft Office Visio Standard Setup cannot continue because the
installation source has been corrupted.
--------------------------------------------
and then the installationg quits.

This works for other MS applications (office, project, access etc).
Any ideas why it doesn't work for Visio?
