Web/app server on XP Home edition

Does anyone know of a way to use a web/app server on XP
Home edition? It looks like I can only use IIS if I have XP
Professional. What can I use for my web/app server on XP Home?

I've heard of folks installing Apache on XP Home.

to show how to make IIS work on Home. I have never tried.

You can use Apache web server (in ubiquitious use on millions of
machines around the world) on XP home. See www.apache.org. Free.

I had appache running on XP Home Machine. However it does not appear to be availble either LAN or WAN side since microsoft secuity patch downloaded in Dec/Jan

Any ideas gratefully recieved.
